FCA Naveen
Garg, DISA (Prop) is a seasoned
professional committed to creating awareness and disseminating knowledge on XBRL
(eXtensible Business Reporting Language). He has played a key role in
developing the “XBRL Preparer’s Guide”, published by the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), and served as a Permanent Special
Invitee to the ICAI Group responsible for the in-house development of
taxonomies.
He has notable international experience, having led the iXBRL implementation at Barclays for HMRC UK compliance, where he was also a member of the British Bankers' Association (BBA) iXBRL UK Collaboration Workspace. Previously, at Techbooks International Pvt. Ltd. (APTARA), he reviewed XBRL financial statements prepared under US GAAP and IFRS taxonomies for filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), establishing himself as a domain expert. He actively manages the “XBRL in India” LinkedIn group, a professional community for resolving queries related to MCA India XBRL filing.
